As a brand-new flagship desktop player, A300 inherits all next generation functions from MR1 and A280 --
exclusive HI-FI Bluetooth, lossless Airplay, high performance FPGA&PCM interface, USB DAC, all kinds of
network music and storage, while providing better output with higher level amplifier, full balanced digital output
and better balanced headphone amplifier. This new digital analog structure is fully demonstrated in A300’s
bigger size and more luxurious power supply materials. Compared to A200S Femto, A300 still has the music
immersion and expressiveness. Plus it excels in transparency, dynamic, operating, information and analysis,
presenting as an integrated flagship network balanced player which can better play back all formats of music.
【Adopting the Same Digital Circuit Crystal Oscillator and FPGA Algorithm Used on D300】

A300 uses the same FPGA algorithm, clock, digital part of D300, even PCB wiring is nearly the same, only
varies a little in power supply. A300 adopts better IIS&DSD native interface protocol to reduce coaxial/AES
and external jitters above 100PS, in this way, it has improved digital output to the next level.
【Innovative High Challenging Dual DA Structure-optimized on MR1’s Analog Part】
MR1’s DA adopts one native mono technology to ensure independent mono from IIS&DSD output with full
native DSD&PCM, both of which need independent secondary development on FPGA. As we all know, DA
chip will only work in stereo mode in native DSD setting. This can’t be controlled except segmenting left and
right channels of DSD digital signal via external chip. So SOUNDAWARE FPGA is in charge of both
generating IIS&DSD and segmenting of left and right channels, so as to ensure the segmentation and the
greater performance of DA.
MR1 uses a instrument level full-balanced amplification structure with all native DSD&PCM, dual DA, full
mono and full DC, no coupling capacity and better crosstalk preventing, DA even performs double effects on
mono mode. A300 inherits exactly the same structure of MR1 but in a bigger space and better power supply
system, so it can work more excellently on saving real and original data to perform better playback.
【High-Performance Power Supply System】
Linear power supply has soft sound feeling since the high frequency noise is very little, but the internal
resistance and low frequency noise is louder, this affects HIFI performance significantly especially the digital
circuit in high speed high frequency.
Being different with A280 and A200S Femto, A300 adopts Hi-end NORATEL transformer from Sri Lanka to
achieve low noise and certain musicality. A300 emphasizes power supply rectifier filtering and innovation on
voltage stabilization by using high speed glass rectifier diode, adding Nichicon FG high volume HIFI audio
capacitance and absorbing low frequency noise and reducing all frequency internal resistance. After the first
level low noise high precision LT LDO, a high capacity ultra-low ESR filtering materials will denoise again to
rectify the 40000UF capacitance, in this way A300 enjoys a better power supply and low noise level which
excels the whole sound quality.
【High-Performance Power Filtering Circuit】
SOUNDAWARE elaborately customized a filtering circuit for A300 aiming to remove the high frequency
interference in bad power supply. When using a good power supply, the high power inductance which is 50
times higher than the interior power supply needs to ensure the sound quality to be clear and stable, even
when you add another exterior filter.
【Fully-Shielded Solution】
We respectively use a plate of cooper-nickel-zinc alloy to protect the high demanding circuit of FPGA’s low-
noise clock and IIS, LPF and analog amplification for shielding it completely from radiated interference from
LCD or other high speed signal. Transformer and PCB adopt 5mm electroplate to secondary isolate them,
thus the playback sound will show full of details, transparency and stability.
【High-Performance Full Balanced Headphone Amp System (Optional)】
Class AB ultra low distortion balanced headphone module featuring one way output up to 0.7A, balanced
output up to 30V. With the excellent full balanced line output of A300, this high- performance balanced
headphone module drives flagship big headphones very well, especially for those medium to high resistance
headphones.
【FPGA’s HIFI Level Bluetooth Application】
A300 develops secondarily on APTX chip, adopting D300’s new FPGA and independent high precision low
noise femto clock to decode, thereby to achieve high fidelity replay of the Bluetooth and surpasses the default
of CSR APTX’s digital output level.
【High-Performance of FPGA XMOS & USB PCM&DSD Interface and Decoder】
In 2017, SOUNDAWARE profoundly developed high-performance XMOS chip which enables FPGA’s
algorithm to process data and femto clock synchronously. It provides an interface to integrate mobile phone,
PAD and computer via XMOS’s data communication channel. Adding the features of mono, full native, full
balance and full DC decode and amplification, optimizing power supply, it then can achieve the same
playback effects as FPGA plays.
【Brand New Firmware, Adding AirPlay and Same Frequency Seamless Playback】
Firmware is optimized on mature V2.9.12, offering smoother, more stable and ready to use high fidelity
AirPlay connection. Later version will support Airplay HD music play. Besides, A300’s new firmware can
playback same frequency music seamlessly, the switching sound will vanish in DSD format, this will help
some decoders to relieve from that annoying sound.
【Various Functions + Powerful Operation + Sound Source Supporting Ability】
A300 has a HIFI-class high fidelity Bluetooth playback based on SOUNDAWARE’s FPGA independent clock,
supporting APP play controlling by mobile phones or tablets on wifi mode, album cover showing
simultaneously with Internet, management of playing list and songs searching. Besides, HIFI performance is
also improved on Apple AirPlay’s base. A300 also supports SD card, USB flash disk, mobile HDD, NAS and
other external storage media to satisfy various needs.
