Buffer is a device that inputting high-impedance and outputting low-impedance, which also known as the ‘impedance matcher.’ On the other hand, buffer can increase the output electric current, it can also be called ‘Current intensifier’.

AS-123 full-tube buffer uses 197A transformer, both two 6K7 and 6SN7 tubes.

The features of AS-123 full-tube buffer as blow:

1. To make the small signal current in the front-end of the signal is rapidly accelerated that increasing the output current while the signal passing AS-123. Finally, it evolves into a state of high resistance and low resistance.

2. AS-123 tube buffer is an equipment that increasing current to help balance-keeping and front-end device. Through this equipment, increasing full current and keeping balance to multi-channel output so to obtain consumable power easily. It’s essential equipment for multi-channel users.

Using method of connecting and using AS-123 in audio system and using method between two devices as below:

l After some audio source. Including CD or decoder, digital audio equipment, phono amplifier, tape recorder, card seat, MD, radio head and so on.

l Connects between audio source and integrated amplifier.

l Using between pre-amplifier and post-amplifier to improve impedance matching and current distribution problems within post-amplifier and front-end equipment.

l AS-123 can match in all parts of the system. Such as part of impedance matching, current amplification and current supplement. It can enable the best connection between each device.

AS-123 tube buffer is exposing transformer and tubes to radiate better. Two sides of the panel install professional handles. Has a metal net window in left side to see the warm light by electronic tube. Gain adjustment below the window can be adjusted from 0 to 20. Middle is a switch which has 0 and 180 gears. There are power indicator and power switch in the right side.

AS-123 has 5 electronic tubes, 2 of them are RCA 6K7, another 2 are Sylvania or Britain GEC 6SN7 tube, the last rectifier tube is 5U4. This equipment provides one set of RCA input, two sets of RCA and balanced output which can transform nun-balance signal into true balance signal.
